Tour description
During our city stroll you’ll visit the most famous squares and fountains starting at the fashionable Piazza di Spagna. Here amongst the oustanding windows of the most famous luxury brand’s boutiques, rise the Spanish Steps a marvel of baroque architecture.
Next, our guide will take you to the Trevi Fountain the most famous fountain in the world. No other place on earth has been such an inspiration to painters, lovers and film directors. In fact, it was here that Federico Fellini shot the iconic bathing scene of “Dolce Vita” starring Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni.
From here, walking the narrow winding streets of Rome you’ll get to the Pantheon, the most impressive and well-preserved monument from the imperial times. Built to serve as roman temple, today it is a Christian basilica where religious services and weddings still are held.
The last stop will be in piazza Navona where underneath the cobbled surface hides the ancient stadium of Domitian. Piazza Navona is a picturesque square where you can enjoy the beauty of the baroque architecture of maestro Bernini who designed the four-river fountain.
